Job summary

Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) in Everett, WA is seeking a Lifeguard/Aquatics Instructor to support DoD recreational programs. You will perform lifeguard duties, enforce safety, and provide CPR/First Aid when needed.

You will teach swimming and water safety, monitor pool conditions, complete incident reports, and coordinate with the Aquatics Program Manager to maintain standards and safety for all patrons.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to pass a 250 yard timed swim test.
• Able to communicate orally and in writing.
• Must possess Lifeguard Training Certification, CPR, First Aid, AED, and Blood Borne Pathogens training.

Responsibilities

• Perform lifeguard duties and supervise patrons.
• Monitor water conditions and enforce safety rules.
• Provide CPR/First Aid and call for medical assistance as needed.
• Test pool chemistry and adjust chemicals as directed.
• Instruct swimming and water safety to students of various ages.
• Complete accident/incident reports and coordinate with management.
