Job summary

North Saint Paul Maplewood & Oakdale School District 622 is seeking dedicated individuals to join the aquatic team as Water Safety Assistant / Swim Instructor Trainee. The role supports certified instructors, teaches Learn-to-Swim classes in the evenings and weekends, and participates in the summer daytime schedule.

Responsibilities include monitoring patrons on deck and in the pool, assisting with safety procedures, and helping create a positive learning environment for students of all ages.

Qualifications

• Must be able to swim 25 yards.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Good attendance.
• Flexibility.
• Willingness to work at various locations throughout the school district.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
