Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport is seeking a part-time restaurant server to join our on-site team in Renton. You will be responsible for presenting guest selections, sharing menu knowledge, and delivering a welcoming dining experience with attention to service details.

Earn $21.57 per hour plus gratuities and service charges, with comprehensive benefits after hours. Experience in food and beverage and ability to work weekends/holidays are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain local food handlers permits prior to being placed on the schedule
• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills for menu presentation and guest interaction
• Knowledge of menu and beverage offerings (alcohol, beer, wine)
• Attention to detail in service, cash handling, and shift duties
• Ability to foster positive teamwork with colleagues
• Minimum of one-year F&B serving experience in various dining settings
• Knowledge of POS and reservations systems
• Available to work all shifts
• Must have physical stamina to lift 35-50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods

Job Overview:

Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge, give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine, and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Wage Information:

• · Minimum of one-year previous F&B serving experience in either fine dining to family style dining.
• · Knowledge of POS and reservations systems.
• · Available to work all shifts.
• · Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight (35-50 pounds)
• · Ability to stand for long periods of time.
