Hyatt Regency La Jolla is hiring a Server Assistant to support the Food Servers and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. The role requires strong communication, physical stamina, and willingness to assist in other outlets as needed.

Open availability, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. The position offers competitive hourly pay, hotel employee discounts, and comprehensive benefits.

About the Role – Server Assistant

The Server Assistant supports Food Servers in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight. Candidate should be able and willing to support in other F&B outlets, including Shor and Market as needed. Open and flexible availability including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays are required. If you have experience as a server assistant in a restaurant, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist servers in providing prompt and courteous service to guests
• Carry full trays up and down stairs
• Replace propane tanks for patio heaters
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Wage Information:

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00/hr. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.
