Servpro of Olathe/Lenexa is seeking a Water Damage Technician to respond to emergencies and restore residential and commercial properties. You will gain professional growth through ongoing training and join a team dedicated to excellence.

In this role, you will handle water extraction, drying, and sanitization while adhering to safety standards. This full-time position offers on-call duties with extended hours during peak demand and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven water damage restoration or similar industry experience.
• Technical skills: Proficient with industry equipment and hand/power tools.
• Soft skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal skills and reliability.
• Physical: Able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, work in confined spaces.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license, clean record, reliable transportation.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible and additional hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Response: Rapidly respond to water damage from floods and leaks.
• Restoration: Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and sanitization.
• Material Removal: Remove damaged materials (carpet, drywall, flooring).
• Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
• Schedule: Full-time (M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) with on-call duties; extended hours, evenings, and weekends during high demand.
