Job summary

Encore RRC is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to help restore properties and peace of mind after water damage, fire, mold and other disasters. This energetic role focuses on assessment, restoration work, and ensuring safe, fully restored environments.

You will respond to sites, operate hand and power tools, conduct extraction and drying, document work for claims, and collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields preferred; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina for lifting and working in confined or challenging environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols throughout all tasks.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record is preferred for travel between job sites.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to restoration services and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, and other disaster sites to assess damage and determine necessary restoration procedures
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently for demolition, drying, cleaning, and repair tasks
• Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation to restore properties to their pre-loss condition
• Conduct cleaning activities including carpet cleaning and debris removal to ensure thorough site sanitation
• Assist with asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols and industry standards
• Document all work performed accurately for insurance claims and project records
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of restoration projects while maintaining high safety standards
