Job summary

Roto-Rooter in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Water Restoration Lead Technician to take charge of water extraction, drying, and cleanup services in residential and commercial properties.

Earn $20-$25/hour plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth as you lead field crews and coordinate restoration projects.

You’ll work with a team to restore properties to pre-loss condition, follow restoration protocols, and ensure quality service for customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in water, fire, mold, or smoke restoration, including leading and coordinating job site activities
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage crews, delegate tasks, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards
• Strong working knowledge of restoration equipment, including moisture meters, drying systems, demolition practices, and containment setup
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT) preferred, or equivalent hands-on field experience
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, and team members while maintaining accurate job documentation
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to safely operate company vehicles
