Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager for our Colorado Springs office. With 6–10 years of experience, you will lead project engineering and task management on municipal water resources design projects and supervise junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Master's degree focusing on Hydrology and/or Hydraulics preferred.
• 6–10 years of progressive experience in water resources study, design, and construction administration.
• Colorado Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide project engineering and task management on water resources design projects.
• Supervise and delegate work to junior engineers and support staff on hydraulic tasks.
• Conduct stormwater collection systems modeling and design.
• Perform floodplain, inundation, and hydrologic studies.
• Perform sediment transport and scour analyses to support water resources projects.
• Assist in water resources permitting efforts.
• Collect, evaluate, and present data in technical reports and oral presentations.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans and specifications for detention facilities, storm drains, flood control facilities and other hydraulic structures.
• Work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to business development, marketing, and proposal preparation.
