Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Hydrology/Hydraulics will be given due consideration.
• 4–10 years of professional water resources experience.
• Colorado Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide project engineering and task management on water resources design projects.
• Supervise and delegate work to junior engineers and support staff for hydraulic tasks.
• Conduct stormwater collection systems modeling and design.
• Perform floodplain, inundation, and hydrologic studies.
• Perform sediment transport and scour analyses for water resources projects.
• Assist in water resources permitting efforts.
• Collect, evaluate, and present data in technical reports and oral presentations.
• Prepare engineering plans and specifications for detention facilities and storm drains.
• Work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to business development, marketing, and proposal efforts.
