Tanner Pacific, Inc. is a leading independent construction management firm focusing on heavy civil projects in California. The Project Engineer will support planning, scheduling, and executing construction tasks, coordinating resources, and tracking project progress to meet timelines.

Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders, you will communicate effectively, review plans, prepare reports, and maintain project records while following established procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, construction management or architecture or have two years of similar technical experience.
  • Must have EIT certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Member of 1 professional organization.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365; Procore or similar construction management software; Primavera P6 scheduling software desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams with planning, scheduling and executing construction tasks; coordinate resources and track progress.
  • Collaborate with project managers and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Process project communications between contractor, client and designer (RFI, submittals, design clarifications, change orders).
  • Maintain online project files and document tracking.
  • May prepare quantity take-offs and estimates for change orders.
  • May review contractor schedules and maintain as-builts.
  • Assist with interpretation of plans and specs; assist with claims preparation and evaluation.
