Atwell, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to work on water resources and civil engineering projects, including land development, stormwater management and utility-scale solar. You will contribute to project growth, prepare drainage studies and design documents, and coordinate permitting with multiple agencies.
The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (ABET) and PE licensure, with 4+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and StormCAD.

As an experienced Project Engineer, you will work on a variety of water resources and civil engineering projects, including land development, stormwater management, and utility-scale solar projects. This person will actively participate in the growth of our firm.
Demonstrate technical excellence in water resources engineering principles and practices.
Possess expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, surface water management, stormwater design, drainage studies, floodplain analysis, and related water resources projects.
Support projects from initial planning and analysis through design, permitting, and construction.
Prepare technical reports, drainage studies, hydraulic/hydrology analyses, design documents, and specifications while coordinating project development efforts.
Support regulatory permitting efforts and prepare documentation including drainage reports, feasibility studies, master plans, and FEMA CLOMR/LOMR submittals. Coordinate with various agencies and jurisdictions to help streamline approvals and maintain project schedules.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project partners, and internal teams.
Contribute to the growth of the water resources practice through high-quality project delivery, technical expertise, and support of business development efforts.
