Job summary

Atwell, LLC is hiring an experienced Project Engineer for on-site civil engineering and land development projects, with a focus on commercial and residential work. You will help grow the firm by delivering high-quality, timely project outcomes.

The role requires a PE license, a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, and 6+ years of experience, with expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from entitlements through construction.
• Coordinate design and development across civil disciplines.
• Manage permitting entitlements with governmental agencies.

What You'll Be Doing:

As an experienced Project Engineer, you will work on site/civil engineering and land development projects, with a focus on Commercial and Residential Projects. This person will actively participate in the growth of our firm.

Technical Proficiency:

• Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices.
• Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects.

Project Lifecycle Management:

• Take projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution.
• Manage and coordinate various aspects of project development.

Permitting and Entitlements:

• Efficiently process multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies.
• Utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process.
• Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules, ranging from large-scale developments to compact commercial infills.

Client Relationship and Company Growth:

• Actively participate in company marketing efforts to enhance our company's profile and foster relationships with existing and future clients and governmental agencies.
• Contribute to the growth of the company by delivering high-quality projects and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC/ABET Accredited University
• PE Licensure Required
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred.

Pay Range

$95,000 — $115,000 USD
