Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead site and civil engineering efforts for land development projects. You will contribute to the growth of our firm and take projects from entitlements through construction, coordinating diverse elements of design, permitting, and client relations.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license, a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• PE licensure is required.
• Experience in Washington preferred.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD are preferred.

What You'll Be Doing:

As an experienced Project Engineer, you will work on site/civil engineering and land development projects. This person will actively participate in the growth of our firm.

Technical Proficiency:

• Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices.
• Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects.

Project Lifecycle Management:

• Take projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution.
• Manage and coordinate various aspects of project development.

Permitting and Entitlements:

• Efficiently process multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies.
• Utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process.
• Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules, ranging from large-scale developments to compact commercial infills.

Client Relationship and Company Growth:

• Actively participate in company marketing efforts to enhance our company's profile and foster relationships with existing and future clients and governmental agencies.
• Contribute to the growth of the company by delivering high-quality projects and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC/ABET Accredited University
• PE Licensure Required
• Candidates with relevant work experience in Washington are preferred.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred.
