Job summary

Kleinfelder’s Design Services in Texas is seeking a Program Manager to lead Public Works/Water Resources projects for local governments and state agencies. You will coordinate with management, technical experts, and construction leaders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include guiding hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, floodplain planning, and complex design tasks while mentoring staff and building strong relationships with stakeholders to grow

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in public works studies and designs, stream stability, streambank protection designs, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, stormwater quality management, and water resources planning.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas.
• Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) License is preferred.
• Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA-SWMM, Bentley StormCAD, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, and 2D modelling tools.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling; mentor team members to perform complex modelling.
• Flood mitigation planning; develop solutions from green infrastructure to master drainage design.
• Watershed ordinance and drainage criteria manual preparation with local governments and the public.
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Role will include managing employees.
