Job summary

Parkhill, one of the Southwest's leading architectural and engineering firms, is seeking a Regional Water Resources Practice Leader in Central Texas. The role combines advanced water resources engineering with practice-building, team leadership, and client development to drive strategic growth.

You will represent Parkhill to clients and partners, oversee major water resources projects, and collaborate across offices to expand service delivery while ensuring excellence in project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Texas.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Water Resources and/or water/wastewater treatment.
  • Experience working with state, regional, and/or public agencies – municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties, and/or state agencies.
  • Expert knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations.
  • Proven success in practice growth, client development, and business acquisition.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the Central Texas Water Resources practice
  • Serve as Senior Project Manager or Project Principal on major water resources projects, providing technical oversight
  • Partner with Parkhill’s Marketing and Business Development teams to create and execute a regional business development plan aligned with the Civil Engineering division strategy
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders
  • Collaborate across office locations to leverage Parkhill’s collective water resources expertise
