J-U-B ENGINEERS, inc. in Pocatello, Idaho is seeking a Project Designer (Engineer-in-Training) to join our team in the Pocatello office.

The role focuses on water resources or municipal projects and offers a clear career path within a supportive, employee-owned firm. Responsibilities include coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, developing client relationships, attending meetings, and performing fieldwork while collaborating with staff across offices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering.
• Engineering Intern (E.I.) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification (passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam) required.
• 0-4 years of civil engineering experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams in planning, design, and construction of water resources and municipal projects.
• Develop business by building relationships with clients and assisting with proposals.
• Collaborate with clients, operators, regulatory/funding agencies, and contractors on project requirements and deliverables.
• Attend client meetings and participate in public meetings or open houses to discuss project details.
• Perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation, equipment installation, and project reconnaissance.
• Coordinate with PE’s, EI’s, drafters, funding team, and construction observers on projects.
