Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; acceptable substitutions per DEP rules.
  • FDOT MOT certification required.
  • FDEP Level III Water Distribution License or higher required.
  • Florida State Class A CDL required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repair and servicing of water treatment equipment and related facilities.
  • Operate hand and power tools and equipment safely.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to advance to Mechanic II/III levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness and perform landscaping duties as assigned.
  • Work evenings, nights, weekends, and standby duty as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and document maintenance activities.
