Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Principal Water Resources Market Leader to join the national Water Resources Practice, based in Boise, Idaho.

The role leads strategic growth, oversees complex water resource projects, and strengthens client relationships and business development. You will build and mentor a team of engineers and scientists, guide proposals, and contribute to regulatory permitting, groundwater and surface water management, and water rights initiatives across the U.S.,

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of direct water resources, hydrogeology, or engineering consulting experience.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Demonstrated success in project management, sales, and business development.
• Excellent leadership and detail-orientation skills.
• Experience with field hydrogeology programs and groundwater modeling.
• Ability and willingness to perform fieldwork and travel as needed.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership in the Water Resources market, developing and implementing growth strategies.
• Lead complex water resources projects including groundwater and surface water management and water rights permitting.
• Build and lead a team of engineers and scientists and manage client relationships.
• Engage in business development activities and contribute to proposals and reporting.
• Provide senior leadership in meetings with clients and regulators.
