Job summary

STV is seeking a Market Sector Lead - Water Resources Engineer for the Water Practice Group in Houston or Dallas, Texas. You’ll provide technical leadership, project management, client development, and proposal support for water resources projects, including stormwater, drainage, floodplain management, and flood-risk initiatives.

You’ll lead hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, mentor staff, and help grow STV’s water resources practice through strategic client

Qualifications

• PE license and state registration.
• Minimum of 10 years in water resources engineering.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
• FEMA floodplain mapping and flood-risk programs.
• Ability to travel for client meetings and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for watersheds and floodplains.
• Manage stormwater, drainage, and flood-risk projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor staff.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders on project delivery.
• Develop client relationships and pursue opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
