Job summary

McGill Associates, PA is seeking a senior Water Resources Engineer to lead the water resources department, directing strategy, project execution, and client engagement. The role involves mentoring staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving growth across markets in NC and nearby states.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years of water resources experience, PE licensure or near-term licensure, and strong skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and modeling tools. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering with hydrology and hydraulics focus.
• 10-15 years of water resources engineering experience.
• NC Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within six months.
• Proficiency in no-rise and CLOMR/LOMR applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee water resources projects ensuring quality and compliance.
• Track project status, update progress, and share insights across teams.
• Schedule tasks and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Manage contracts and invoicing; monitor profitability and performance.
• Support business development and client relationships through proposals.
