Job summary

The Hualapai Tribe is seeking a Water Resources Technician I in the Natural Resources department to support EPA water quality assessments, storm water prevention, and wetland protection on the Reservation.

The role involves field sampling, data collection (macroinvertebrates, algae, fish, birds), water level monitoring, and public education meetings under the Water Resources Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; college courses preferred.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License and passing background checks.
• Able to perform tasks safely and manage multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field sampling and data collection for water resources projects.
• Maintain water quality records and shipment of samples.
• Coordinate with tribes, local governments, and federal agencies on water resources.
• Communicate effectively in written and oral form.
