The Hualapai Tribe is seeking a Water Resources Technician I in the Natural Resources department to support EPA water quality assessments, storm water prevention, and wetland protection on the Reservation.
The role involves field sampling, data collection (macroinvertebrates, algae, fish, birds), water level monitoring, and public education meetings under the Water Resources Program Manager.
Under the supervision of the Water Resources Program Manager assists in the completion of specific scopes of work in the following program areas: EPA Water Quality Assessments, Storm Water Pollution Prevention, Source Waster Assessment and Protection, Wetland Preservation and Conservation. Conduct physical water quality parameters, monitoring of wetland vegetation and acreage, collecting macroinvertabrates, algae, fish and bird data, water level monitoring of wells and public education meetings.
