Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Water Resources group in Dallas. You will support senior engineers with data analysis, document handling, and cross-department coordination to deliver project outcomes.

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (sophomore or junior preferred) and possess a valid driver’s license. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is a plus.

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (sophomore or junior preferred).
Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Perform routine calculations under a senior engineer.
Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
Analyze continuous flow and rainfall data.
Copy and scan project drawings.
Assist engineer with development of spreadsheet tools.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers, taking direction as needed.
Coordinate with Planning, Design (structural), Hydraulic and Hydrology departments.
Communicate effectively with engineering staff and clients.
Maintain excellent client relations and a safe work environment.
