What you will do:

• Work under a Water Resources Team Leader in developing Water Resources design projects for FDOT, FEMA, Water Management Districts, FDEP, and local municipalities.
• Perform flood risk education and planning, flood infrastructure planning, and design for private and public stormwater infrastructure.
• Oversee and manage multiple Water Resources projects simultaneously, ensuring timely, within budget, and compliant with standards.
• Collaborate with design staff, consultants, and clients to deliver projects that enhance Florida communities' growth and safety.
• Assist in managing the workload of design staff including Engineers, EITs, and technical staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality, regulatory, and client standards.
• Monitor project budgets, allocate resources, and identify opportunities for efficiency and profitability.
• Assist in developing and managing project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Review water resources designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistency.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or an ABET-accredited equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Water Resources project delivery.
• Civil Engineering Project Management experience in Water Resources required.
• Florida PE License.
• Technical experience with ICPR4 (Stormwise) and ArcGIS.
• Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, water resources planning, and stormwater infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in project management and supervising technical staff.
• Successful track record of leading projects from inception to completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams and handle multiple tasks.
• Positive attitude, self-directed, team player, focused on quality and integrity.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, work on a computer, lift up to 20 pounds, and travel to project sites.
