Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Water Resources group in our Columbus office. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (freshman or sophomore status preferred) and possess a valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required and knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated, very organized and have excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office required; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calculations under a senior engineer.
• Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
• Perform data analysis of rainfall and flow data.
• Copy and scan project drawings.
• Assist engineer with development of spreadsheet tools.
• Work with project managers and engineers and take direction from them.
• Support Planning, Design, Hydraulic and Hydrology departments.
