Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Water Resources group in the Taylor, MI office. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering and have a valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is preferred. Typical responsibilities include assisting senior engineers with calculations, obtaining drawings from municipalities, analyzing rainfall and flow data, and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office required.
• Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit preferred.
• Must be self-motivated, organized with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calculations under a senior engineer.
• Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
• Analyze rainfall and flow data.
• Assist with development of spreadsheet tools.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers.
