Job summary

RS&H, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Fall 2026 Water Resources Engineering Intern to collaborate with top engineers on stormwater and drainage design projects.

You will assist design work, prepare plans and reports, and gain hands-on experience in transportation and water resources engineering under mentorship. Fluency in MS Office is expected; AutoCAD/MicroStation and FDOT exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a basic level of technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stormwater management, drainage design, hydrologic, hydraulic and water quality modeling and environmental permitting.
• Prepare plans, designs, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Gather and provide data for the preparation of engineering reports and studies.
• Perform and review design calculations.
