Job summary

RS&H in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Associate to join our hybrid team. You will help compile data, assist with permit and report preparation, and perform material testing to support project progress.

Responsibilities include elementary design calculations, quantity takeoffs and estimates, and preparing drawings and visual aids. You will also use engineering software and conduct field reviews to understand construction practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent.
• Awareness of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
• Basic knowledge of production software.
• Interest in growing and learning as an engineer.
• Strong oral and written communication with clients, contractors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Compile data and assist with permit and report preparation and material testing.
• Complete elementary design calculations and prepare quantity takeoffs and estimates and engineering plans.
