Job summary

RS&H, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Associate I in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role offers a hybrid work schedule with part-time in-office and remote work supported for project collaboration.

You will assist with data compilation, permit and report preparation, and material testing, while performing elementary design tasks and creating drawings and visuals to support transportation and water resources projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Compile data and assist with permit and report preparation and material testing.
• Perform elementary design calculations and prepare quantity takeoffs and estimates and engineering plans.
• Carry out basic design tasks using engineering software and technologies.
• Prepare drawings and visual aids for projects.
• Conduct field reviews and observations of ongoing construction.
