Job summary

Olsson is seeking a summer intern for our Water Resources team in Dallas. As a civil or environmental engineering student, you will work on real-world hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater projects, and assist in project design using AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS/ArcPRO and related tools.

You will help prepare construction documents, conduct research, write technical reports, and may travel to job sites for field observation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team.
• Willingness to own the work and contribute to project success.
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater and flood control projects.
• Assist with project design using AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS/ArcPRO, HECRAS, HECHMS or PCSWMM.
• Prepare construction documents and write technical reports.
• Possibility to travel to job sites for field observation.
