Job summary

Olsson offers a summer 2027 engineering student internship with the Water Resources team. You will perform hands-on work transforming classroom knowledge into real-world projects, collaborating with engineers on hydrologic analyses for stormwater and flood control, and using AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro for design tasks.

You will assist with technical reports, engage with the team on client projects, and may travel to job sites for field observations as part of your learning experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (civil engineering).
• Solid communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS software is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control projects.
• Perform project design using AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro.
• Contribute to technical reports and project documentation.
• Support field observation and potential travel to job sites as needed.
