Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our North Central Community Development team. You will perform hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks, provide guidance to Land Development teams, and manage plans and cost estimates.

Collaboration across disciplines and fieldwork are part of the role. Requirements include a BS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources Engineering and PE or ability to obtain within 6 months, with 5+ years of water resources experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• PE registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 5+ years’ experience in water resources design and analysis for Land/Civil Site Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Stormwater management, drainage, and erosion & sediment control analysis and design tasks for projects and studies.
• Provide technical guidance to Land Development teams in hydrologic, hydraulic, scour, and water quality design and analysis.
• Independently manage and perform hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks, reports, and studies.
• Assist in plan development and cost estimation.
• Maintain adherence to project schedules and milestones.
• Participate in field work as needed.
