Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join the North Central Community Development team in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role involves stormwater management and erosion control design, providing technical guidance on hydrological projects, and collaborating on community development. Candidates should have a B.S. degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience. Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in water resources design and analysis for Land/Civil Site Engineering.
Independent management of hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks.
Maintenance of project schedules and milestones.
Responsibilities
Conduct stormwater management and erosion & sediment control design tasks.
Provide technical guidance on hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality design.
Participate in field work as needed.
Skills
Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling experience
Proficient using CAD programs including AutoCAD Civil 3D
Effective communication skills
Critical thinking skills
Education
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months
Tools
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
CAD software including AutoCAD Civil 3D
Geographic Information Systems software
