You will lead drainage and stormwater design for transportation and civil infrastructure, perform hydrologic analyses, prepare calculations and construction plans, and mentor developing engineers while advancing toward technical leadership. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE license in Idaho or Washington, or ability to obtain on hire.
• 6+ years of drainage, stormwater, hydrology or hydraulics experience.
• Experience with engineering calculations, reports and design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and design of drainage and stormwater systems for transportation projects.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using established methods.
• Prepare calculations, reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Develop solutions for drainage, stormwater, floodplain, fish passage, and water conveyance.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and drafters to develop deliverables.
• Review comments from clients, agencies, and QC reviews.
• Manage tasks across multiple projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Participate in field investigations and data collection as needed.
