David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to support transportation and civil infrastructure projects across Eastern Washington and Idaho, with offices in Boise, Coeur d’Alene, Pocatello, Spokane and Tri-Cities. The role focuses on hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, drainage design, and technical documentation.

You will lead tasks, mentor junior engineers, and grow toward technical leadership or project management within our Inland Northwest team.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• PE license in Idaho or Washington or ability to obtain on hire.
• 6+ years in drainage, stormwater, hydrology, or hydraulics design.
• Experience preparing calculations, reports, and design drawings.
• Experience with drainage/hydraulic software and related design tools.

Mansioni

• Lead planning and design of drainage and stormwater systems for transportation projects.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using established methods.
• Prepare calculations, reports, design plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Develop solutions to drainage, stormwater, floodplain, and water conveyance projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Review and incorporate client and agency comments and quality reviews.
• Manage tasks across multiple projects meeting scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Participate in field investigations and data collection as needed.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and ongoing professional judgment.
