David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) seeks a Water Resources Engineer to support Eastern Washington and Idaho projects from our Inland Northwest team. You’ll lead drainage and stormwater design for transportation projects, perform hydrologic analyses, and develop practical water conveyance solutions.

The role involves collaboration, mentoring, and growing toward leadership or PM responsibilities. Ideal candidates hold a PE license, 6+ years of drainage/hydrology experience, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE license in Idaho or Washington or ability to obtain on hire.
• 6+ years of drainage, stormwater, hydrology, or hydraulics design.
• Experience with calculations, docs, reports, and drawings.
• Experience with drainage/hydraulic software and CAD/GIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage and stormwater design for transportation projects.
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses using standard methods.
• Prepare calculations, reports, designs, specs, and cost estimates.
• Develop solutions for drainage, floodplain, and water conveyance.
• Coordinate with managers, engineers, designers, and drafters.
