This role is ideal for licensed Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, and Wastewater Engineers ready to expand their technical leadership responsibilities.
What You Will Do
Lead Project Delivery and Design
- Direct solutions for water distribution, wastewater collection and conveyance, pump stations, storage facilities, treatment systems, and rehabilitation programs.
- Prepare and oversee calculations, reports, specifications, construction documents, bid packages, alternatives analyses, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction.
Manage Projects and Serve Clients
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, contractual requirements, and financial performance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to municipal and utility clients through meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support proposals, Capital Improvement Program development, and client growth strategies.
Develop People
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff while promoting collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and a valid driver's license.
- Experience with water and sewer system design or rehabilitation, utility permitting and regulatory coordination, construction administration or field support, and preparation of plans, specifications, and bid documents.
Preferred
- Prior oversight of project delivery and engineering teams.
- Proposal development and client relationship management.
Travel
Local travel within Western Pennsylvania, generally 10% to 15%, with occasional Mid-Atlantic travel for project meetings and site visits.
