Job summary
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking an Engineer in Training to support the Water Resources design team in Salt Lake City. The role focuses on water-related projects, including drainage, potable water, and wastewater infrastructure, with mentorship from senior engineers.
The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources engineering, EIT certification, and 2+ years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resource Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (Masters considered).
- EIT certification (FE exam) completed.
- 2+ years relevant experience in design calculations, plan production, or technical writing.
- Experience with Autodesk or Bentley design platforms is a plus.
- Experience with WaterCAD, SewerCAD, StormCAD, and USACE HEC programs is a plus.
- GIS experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support field investigations or assessments.
- Perform design engineering calculations.
- Assist in the design of water and stormwater infrastructure.
- Provide data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Participate in writing and production of project reports.
- Work under mentorship of senior engineers.
