Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Engineer in Training to support the Water Resources design team on water-related projects including drainage, potable water, and wastewater infrastructure. Travel to project sites may be required, and you will work under senior engineers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and applying engineering fundamentals, with opportunities to grow through hands-on design calculations, fieldwork, and technical writing.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resource Engineering from ABET/EAC-accredited program.
• EIT certification (FE exam) required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience in design calculations, field work, or technical writing.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D or Bentley products is a plus.
• Experience with WaterCAD/SewerCAD/StormCAD or USACE HEC programs is a plus.
• GIS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support field investigations or assessments.
• Perform design engineering calculations.
• Assist in the design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
• Provide data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Contribute to project reports through writing and production.
• Work under the guidance of senior engineers.
