Job summary

M3 Engineering Group is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our growing St. Louis office. This technical role offers independent work and meaningful project delivery across water resources and civil engineering for public agencies and utilities.

Strong candidates will have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Missouri PE or the ability to obtain one (Illinois licensure a plus), and experience delivering civil or water resources designs through multiple project phases.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Missouri PE license, or ability to obtain one; Illinois licensure is a plus.
• A background in civil or water resources design across multiple design phases.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate when needed.
• Willingness to tackle new challenges on a variety of projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sanitary sewer and force main planning and design.
• Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
• Streambank stabilization and restoration.
• Stormwater and drainage studies and design.
• Floodplain analysis and flood mitigation.
• Prepare plans, calculations, reports, and other deliverables.
• Coordinate with regulators and obtain permits.
• Apply engineering judgment to project challenges.
• Field investigations and site visits.
• Travel locally for project activities.
