Job summary

Stillpoint AEC in Houston is seeking a Civil Engineer with water resources expertise to lead drainage and stormwater projects, perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, develop models, and support regulatory studies. You will coordinate with clients, municipalities, and multidisciplinary teams, prepare reports and plans, and mentor junior staff.

The role offers hybrid/onsite work, support for PE licensure, continuing education, and clear paths to project and technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience in water resources, stormwater, drainage, or H&H modeling preferred.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates considered.
• Experience with water resources modeling platforms and Civil 3D/ArcGIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and support water resources and stormwater projects including drainage systems and flood control.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and floodplain evaluations.
• Develop hydrologic/hydraulic models to evaluate runoff and system performance.
• Prepare drainage reports, plans, specs and cost estimates; participate in permitting and construction administration.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
