Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil, environmental, or biosystems engineering or related science is required.
• Advanced degree in engineering or science is preferred.
• Internship experience in environmental consulting is preferred.
• Health & safety training and client-driven drug/background testing required.
• Some field work and overnight travel required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and satisfactory driving record for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and modeling.
• Design and analyze watershed, stormwater, and stream restoration projects.
• Model surface water quality and perform environmental data analysis.
• Design green infrastructure and low impact development BMPs.
• Conduct floodplain modeling and permitting.
• Assist with erosion/sediment control design and NPDES compliance.
• Assist civil/infrastructure design and site layout.
• Perform site visits and field investigations; prepare reports and drawings.
