Farnsworth Group Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to lead a variety of water resources projects across multiple Illinois locations.

The role involves technical leadership, mentoring staff, managing client relationships and project financials, and growing the water resources practice through business development. You’ll design projects such as natural channels, green infrastructure, detention, culvert designs, and IDOT storm sewer systems, while QA/QC hydrology/hydraulic modeling and

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Agricultural, or Environmental Engineering.
• 15+ years experience in engineering field (or less years experienced with an advanced degree).
• Professional Engineering License.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water resources projects from inception to completion.
• Mentor engineering staff and oversee client relationships and project financials.
• Drive business development and strategic planning for the water resources practice.
• Coordinate with leadership to explore opportunities, budget planning, and staffing needs.
• Design water resources projects including natural channel design, green infrastructure, detention, culvert design, and IDOT storm sewer systems.
