Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer Water Resources Hydrologist in Daly City, CA to develop hydrogeologic models, assess water resources, and deliver SGMA-compliant plans. You will prepare reports, present findings, and support project scheduling and budgeting with a hands-on, team-based approach.

The role offers hybrid work, a base salary up to $150,000 plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, ESOP, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 2–10 years of water resources experience (engineering, planning or hydrogeology).
• Water supply planning experience is a plus.
• Strong technical background in groundwater scheduling, budget tracking, deliverables and progress reports.
• Experience with ArcGIS, MODFLOW, Python, R, MODFLOW6, IWFM, PEST.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement hydrogeologic conceptual models, water balances, and numerical models.
• Prepare SGMA-compliant groundwater sustainability plans, water supply assessments, and urban water management plans.
• Craft clear, well-written documents and impactful presentations for diverse audiences.
• Assist project managers and senior staff with scheduling, budget tracking, deliverables, and progress reports.
