Join our Water Resources Group as a Water Resources Engineer to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, develop models, and support projects from planning through construction. Hybrid work arrangements are considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations for transportation, municipal, and environmental projects.
• Complete 1-D and 2-D Hydraulic Modeling with team support.
• Develop models, evaluate results, and communicate findings to teams and clients.
• Follow FHWA guidance (HEC) to assess scour and river stability and propose countermeasures.
• Conduct field investigations and monitoring activities as needed.
• Support planning, design, permitting, and construction-phase delivery of water resources projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across transportation, environmental, and municipal projects.
• Prepare reports, memoranda, permit applications, and construction documents.
• Manage technical tasks, budgets, and schedules under project managers.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to practice improvement.
