Job summary

Arcadis in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an entry-level Water Resources Engineer to join our Resilience Water Team. Based at our Milwaukee office (or Chicago, IL), you will support design, permitting, and project delivery for water and wastewater conveyance and treatment.

You will collaborate with experienced professionals, develop technical capabilities, and participate in client meetings. Our onboarding programs support growth, creativity, and integration across local and global teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
0–2 years of design or consulting experience in engineering.
EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Experience with hydraulic modeling, GIS, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, plan, design, permit, and support water/wastewater conveyance and treatment projects.
Prepare design calculations, portions of technical reports, and survey/ drainage plans.
Develop engineering plans and specifications for related projects.
Support construction activities: site observations and RFIs.
Assist with sustainability and resilience project efforts and client meetings.
Travel may be required for site visits and project support.
