Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an entry-level Water Resources Engineer to join the Resilience Water Team based out of Milwaukee, WI, with consideration for candidates in Chicago, IL. You will support projects in water and wastewater conveyance, perform design calculations, and participate in client meetings while growing technical skills.

The role offers mentorship, onboarding programs, and opportunities to work across local, national, and global teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
0-2 years of relevant design or consulting experience, preferably in municipal work.
EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred.
Experience with hydraulic modeling software, GIS, data analysis.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, plan, design, permit and support management of water/wastewater conveyance projects.
Prepare design calculations and technical reports.
Assist with field data collection for permit compliance and client meetings.
Ensure project compliance with Arcadis standards and safety.
Learn and use digital tools (BIM, Power BI, AR) to enhance delivery.
Some travel for site visits and meetings may be required.
