Job summary

STV Incorporated in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a Civil Engineer to plan, design and implement drainage improvements and stormwater management for transportation projects, under the supervision of a licensed engineer.

You will prepare drainage plans, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, and technical reports using OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, ArcGIS Pro and related tools, with occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, including hydrology and water resources.
• Minimum two years of experience in the position offered.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement drainage improvements for transportation projects.
• Develop drainage and stormwater plans and details.
• Prepare drainage plan sets for construction-level plans or integrated with civil packages.
• Prepare Storm Water Management Reports and other technical reports.
• Prepare culvert/bridge hydrologic and hydraulic studies.
• Coordinate drainage designs with Roadway, Structures, Utilities, & MOT.
• Utilize OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, ESRI ArcGIS Pro, PCSWMM, HY-8 and Hydraulic Toolbox.
