STV Incorporated in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a Civil Engineer to plan, design and implement drainage improvements and stormwater management for transportation projects, under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
You will prepare drainage plans, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, and technical reports using OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, ArcGIS Pro and related tools, with occasional travel to client sites.
Responsible for planning, design and implementation of drainage improvement, stormwater management and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling projects, with a focus on projects for the transportation sector. Work closely with project managers and under the supervision of a licensed engineer to perform the following duties:
Position duties require extensive utilization of OpenRoads Designer (StormCAD), Microstation, ESRI ArcGIS Pro, PCSWMM, FHWA HY-8 and Hydraulic Toolbox.
Position based in Raleigh, North Carolina and requires approximately 15% travel time to client project sites within the East South Central and South Atlantic regions. May work from home up to 2 days per week, subject to change at any time.
