Job summary

STV, Inc. invites applications for a Hydraulics Engineer in the Transportation Group in Raleigh, NC. The role includes leading sub-disciplines on AD projects, directing a design team, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.

Experience leading disciplines and client liaison is essential. Preferred candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with a PE license, 10–15+ years of related work experience, and OpenRoads Designer drainage proficiency.

Qualifications

• Extensive Hydrologic and Hydraulic Design experience on AD Transportation Projects in the South Region (STV's South Region).
• Experience serving as Discipline Lead, Sub-Discipline Lead, or Deputy Discipline Lead on projects of varying size.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise design team work with manpower and financial accountability.
• Lead engineers and staff in technical excellence and growth; provide technical consultations.
• Ensure design compliance with codes and regulations; provide PE seal when required.
